BCM Director
I grew up in a small town in Northeast Oklahoma and gave my life to Jesus when I was 12. Unfortunately I did not do very much with my faith until my Freshman year at The University of Oklahoma. At OU I was shown how to deeply walk with Jesus and how to develop reproducing followers of Him. It was during college that the Lord called me to give my life to reaching college students. I am so thankful to be here in Charleston and able to be used to see college students give their lives to Jesus!

In 2006, I accepted Christ as my Savior. Eight years later the Lord called me into ministry, but I was unsure of what that would look like. After I graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma, I started volunteering in the college ministry at the church I attended and worked at. It is by His grace and mercy that I have been able to serve in ministry and disciple young women over the years. I am thrilled to be on staff at the Charleston BCM, and to see how the Lord will work in the lives of college students in the Charleston area!
Robert Christie

Growing up in Spartanburg, South Carolina, I came to know the Lord at 16. I moved down to Charleston to go to CSU and there I quickly found my calling was full time ministry. By the grace of God, I've had the privilege of serving in a plethora of areas raising up young men to know and serve the Lord. I now serve on staff at Charleston BCM in South Carolina, where we minister to students at several universities in the area!

I first accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior when I was a little girl, and over time I’ve grown in understanding what it truly means to follow Him. When I came to the College of Charleston, I made it a priority to get involved in a community that challenged me to grow closer to Jesus. At Charleston BCM, I experienced leaders who invested in me, taught me how to live out my faith, and showed me the love of Christ in tangible ways. Now, I’m honored to serve on staff so I can walk alongside students, encourage them in their faith, and offer the same guidance and community that shaped my journey.

I was raised in a Christian home and gave my life to the Lord at just seven years old. As I grew, I sought to know God more deeply and discover His purpose for my life. When I came to college at The Citadel, I joined BCM and was overwhelmed by the love, encouragement, and community I found there. Now, I am honored to serve that same community, helping students grow in their faith, navigate life in college, and experience the ways God moves in their lives. It is a true joy and privilege to walk alongside students and disciple them as they follow Jesus.
